PHYSICALS
***if you missed out on the physicals last Wednesday, you will be able to go to the HS on May 1 to get one. Anyone can go to the AMCHS to get a physical. It does not matter where you are zoned.
It is CSISD policy to have all athletes to get a sports physical every year to participate in athletics. The school will provide physicals for $10 for any CSISD student for the 2019-20 school year (see dates below). The student will need to have a medical history form filled out and signed by BOTH parent and student before they get to the school physicals. They can bring them day of or give them to the designated coach.
May 1 the 8th grade physicals will be at AMC High School from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. We will provide a bus transfer to the HS for them to get the physicals. They will need to arrange for transportation from the HS. MAKE SURE THE PARENTS HAVE SIGNED THE BOTTOM OF THE MEDICAL HISTORY FORM

CORRECTION - Celebration is on MAY 9th (not may 8th) and for all 8th grade (not including 7th grade) athletes at Backmann Park to celebrate their dedication and accomplishments they have achieved over their last two year.

*parking is sparse at best due to construction of parking lot construction, little league going on, and it is just small. It has been suggested that you arrive early or car pool. We should have people there by 4:30 pm. I am sure there will be things you could help with.
**AMCMS 8th grade athletes are free. Additional meals can be purchased for $5 a plate

You are now able to go online to your arbiterathlete.com account to fill out the UIL & school forms for next year (2019-20).
SCHOOLOGY
For current 7th graders and current 6th graders, starting next year we are no longer going to be able to provide information to you through Remind 101. Our district purchased schoology for the district to use exclusively. I think this is going to be a great program once everyone gets acquainted with the program. There is an app available in your app store. It is a one stop shop for the ability to send you real time notifications, just like remind, as well as, it gives you a place to find all of our documents like schedules.
We will be posting to both schoology and remind for the rest of the year, but it would be good that you go ahead and join the schoology group to start getting use to the interface. You can find the information below on how to join the group.
